i got a eg with gsr motor and turbo. When i start the car it will blow a cloud of white smoke. Whats the best way to find out what the problem is?

 

Compression/ Leak Down tests

Could just be condensation. Is there more smoke than what looks normal? Is this the first time you have noticed it?

 

check your coolant for oil mixture or your oil for coolant mixture.

 

its more smoke than normal. And at stop signs when going into first i can see a little smoke.. So compression/leak down test? how much does that cost? i will check the coolant today. what if there is oil? then what is it?

if u c oil in ur coolant than most likely its your headgasket thats gone bad.
