Help! No power @ ecu or relay !! Stalled yesterday ? short ?
Street tuning the car yesterday and out of no where it threw a cel and instantly stalled. Check all fuses, checked all grounds, t-stat ground is good, ground at ecu is good, ground at relay is good, ground at fuel pump is good. I have 12v @ the ecu back up power pin, but NO VOLTAGE anywhere coming into the ecu other than this spot. NO VOLTAGE at fuel pump relay. So w/ KOEO relay is not clicking, fuel pump isn't priming, ecu is not getting any power.
Tried a new ecu, nothing. Threw my relay into a buddies car, relay fired his car right up. grounds are good. fuses all good.
I have a suspicion that i shorted a switched ign wire, my wide band was wired into
(open splice, no electrical tape). But wideband, gauges, and everything else works fine, no fuses blown.
Im stuck, i guess i need to start tearing the harness apart to see if there is a break anywhere.
I searched and found alot of people having similar issues, most were during a swap or something. In my case, the car was running... don't know if that makes much of a difference, but i goes to show my grounds and everything are good or else the thing wouldn't have run at all.
didn't drive through any puddles, didn't hit any bumps... just cruising down the street and then it stalled.

Sounds similar to a local guys K-Series car I just helped out w/ the other night. His issues involved plug A on his ECU.
Do you have a custom kill switch that you have wired into your main power source somewhere that could have came disconnected?

Kill switch ? whats that ?
whatever the issue is, is directly related to a bunch of wires on ecu plug A.
but as far as the condition of the plug and wires going into it..all seems well...
i think i just need to work backwards from there till i find the problem.
this is gona suck.

update.
found fuse 12 blown, replaced it and now ecu and relay turn on with key!
car started for about 1/2 a second. then died out again. now i dont have any spark, or fuel at the engine. relay and ecu are still turning on. Threw my ecu in a friends car and started right up. so i know its not the ecu for sure.
well see how things go...

lol the most basic things.....
Lesson here kids is, Always check the basics first/
Not flamming you, I did this with my new swap, couldnt find it,
replaced the MFR $80 and other things, and there was a blown fuse

oops.. posted under a friends name.
your right it was basic. I did all my diag on the side of the road with limited tools. I guess i just overlooked that fuse, but the problem isnt solved, at this point it seems as though there are still issues to be figured out.
whatever it was (guessing a short) did more than just pop a fuse, i now have no voltage at any injectors and no spark...
ill figure it out today, at this point its not so much as me asking for help, but to possibly help others out with similar problems.
ill keep it updated, on my way down there now.

been a few days, just figured id let everyone know whats up...
fuel pump clogged, pulled to much amperage, poped a fuse
also...found a 12v wire pulled out of one of my engine harness plugs.
