I am not very familiar with the RMF (narrow i assume??) , but the Toda header is by far the best off the shelf application you could use.

edit... if you search you will find a wealth of information on headers!

RMF for optimum power....

Toda because it is stainless.

Best being getting the RMF in stainless. Other RMF owners feel free to flame, bash and e-thug me....but I live in a region where mild steel coated headers will not last the winter.

Stainless steel....for teh MegA WiN....

If you are looking for a top of the line header and your gonna pay 1000+ go with smsp or rmf ive heard good things about both toda is a production header smsp and rmf are quality

production headers arent built in bulk machines alot if not all the welding and they are a dime a dozen everyone can buy a mass production header but the custom ones such as smsp, rmf, dtr these are all hand crafted in my opinion its just alot better quality but thats just my opinion
dont get me wrong, toda makes a decent header and im sure its better then like dc sports or greddy or whatever but if im gonna spend 900 bucks on a production header i would rather pay a couple hundred more and have a disgusting header

another reason i think production headers arent as great is i work in a fab shop and do alot of welding and alot of my buddies and ppl i know are always bringing in dc sport headers and random headers to get welded where they have cracked and or broke so i mean i havent had my smsp for very long but you can tell the welds are top notch

Here is the link for the Great Header Test:

http://www.daliracing.com/v666...t.cfm

I have never heard anybody have any problems with Toda headers. If I was in the market for a header it would be an SMSP cause of course quality is top notch, it usually makes the most power, and Dave seems like a real stand up guy and I would be proud to support him.

The only bad thing is that usually there is a wait for the SMSP which can last for months so if you want something now you will be more than happy with the Toda. If you don't mind waiting support Dave.

the next time someone brings you a Toda header to fix please let me know. I understand what you are saying, and much of it makes sense. IMO if the range between the "best" header for a B-series application is only a couple hundred bucks, i would rather pay the least for what is considered almost as good as the best.

Although there is a wait for Dave's products getting your hands on a Toda piece isn't always the easiest either. Toda only give AKH trading company so many per each shipment. Often times you can place an order immediately, but you may wait just as long as you would for a header from Dave.

RMF narrow FTW, if you could wait several weekes until youre header is febricated.
750 for mild steel and 1000 for stainless

Based on the dyno sheet from the great header test. Toda tied with smsp. Not too bad, but i guess with the more mods cams and pnp the smsp would make more whp right? At what point on a b18c does the toda start becoming restrictive? above 200 whp?
