Clearing SRS code
Hey my SRS light is on from a broken SRS cable reel, which I replaced. So now that the problem is gone, I wanna clear the code. The factory service manual says to use an SCS connector, which I'm sure has to come from the dealer for 10293039 dollars, or they can do it for 29348090 dollars. In the manual it LOOKS like the SCS connector just connects the 2 sides of the plug, just like a jumper wire would. But of course the manual says "use the SCS connector, not a jumper wire". But the dealer wants 90 dollars to do the 2 minute procedure. So I'm wondering if the manual is just tryin to send you to the stealership, or would a jumper wire really be a bad idea? Anyone risked it before?

Using a paper clip will be really hard. I used a 2 wires and it worked fine in my ep3. It may take you a few tries though. Also all the connector is is a piece of plastic that plugs into that yellow thing and has a U shaped wire on it. The connector is also 50$ I think.
