just curious. i recently swapped back to a stock muffler(94-01 integra on 97 4dr) cause i grew tired of the noise. will a test pipe give me that raspy/ricey sound i so don't want? i have a 2.25 mid pipe, and the muffler piping is 2''. anybody have a similar setup?

 

My exhaust is all stock except for the test pipe and it sounds pretty quiet. I couldn't tell any difference really. 95 civic 4dr dx

 

Yes it will. My car sounds like complete *** now that I have 2.5" from the header back... annoying as hell.

 

do you have a stock muffler with this set up? what car/motor?
