Alright pretty much ive had a turbo kit installed in my 97 prelude for about 2 weeks. Was running great but stock ecu cant take boost so it cuts out as soon boost gauge got to 0. This was ok since i knew this would happen. Car ran perfect besides that, low idle and running rich cuz of bigger injectors but all else was good.
Didnt drive it except to see if everything worked. Today i installed a p28 ecu + hondata s200 with boost and i immediately run into problems.
First of all about the tune on it, it was tuned for a similar prelude on 7psi with greddy turbo kit. I know all cars are unique but i figured this tune would work temporarily before i get it tuned for my setup specifically. I start up the car and it sounded different, to me it sounded like it was running on 3 cylinders. So i went out and bought different sparkplugs: BCR7ES. Still car sounds like its running on 3 cylinders. I thought just try if it even runs, gave it enough gas to go just barely into boost and let off. Felt sluggish all the way up which it didnt this morning before i installed ecu+hondata.
Anyone know what the problem is?

not really surprising seeing how the map was for a different car
did you shorten the gap on the new plugs to around .28 my car ran like poo with the factory gap.

i figured out the problem. One of the dsm 440cc injectors (which its tuned for) wasnt working so it was only running on 3 cylinders. I swapped them temporarily for jdm h22 350cc's. Car runs alright but it sounds like its knocking so i didnt let the engine run any longer. Could the swap to lower cc inectors cause this knocking? Ill have to try to get my hands on a single injector somehow
I have also yet to install my exhaust to run the o2 sensor? Is this a major issue? I am thinking of extending it to reach to the DP bung that came with the kit temporarily.

i'm assuming you changed the hondata back to 350's aswell, it could that causing the knock or your fuel pressure. If you need it to get to work or wotever then i'd just retard the ignition and play with the fuel pressure a bit, **** compromise but it might work. to be honest i just wouldn't run it while its leaning out like that
