Default Short Rams... which one?

I'm looking heavy at the K&N Typhoon kit, I've always trusted K&N so they have added bonus points with me. I don't take the quoted 'power boosts' to heart on any of the models I have looked at. However, I know some of you have some short rams, if you can, list yours and name cons and pros about the product, before, during and after install... thanks!

I love my K&N. The quality is top notch. There is a pic of mine on the pic thread.

Someone did a test with the Injen vs K&N and said that the K&N was so hot you couldnt touch it after driving where the Injen you were able to touch and was cooler. Seems like the Injen repels heat better which means better gains.

I just recieved my K&n typhoon, quality is very good. Comes with the heatshield which I do not belive the injen comes with. My car is in the body shop for some repair, but when it comes back i will install and post some vid's and pics.

Go on http://www.fgcoupe.com or http://www.8thcivic.com and look for sonick20z or something like that. He's the guy that did the tests and reported on the Injen vs. K&N.

i have the aem short ram and it's real nice. very deep growl and when vtec engages you can defiantly here the difference, and unlike the aem cold air their is NO throttle hessitation

on a side note though i might sell it to get something a little quieter for my son

I just installed my k&n and WOW! It actaully sounds as if you have itb's. Under regular driving you hear the growl and when you get on it into vtec it is loud like crazy. I love it....
