I have an SRS light on that wont go off.
I have already tried resetting it several times, I get the two blinks to indicate that the reset was good, but the light just comes back on.
So I can only assume that there is something actually wrong with my SRS, so how do I read the SRS light to find out whats wrong and correct it?
The car is an '00 Civic SI.

I would also assume that there is something wrong with your srs system. Just wondering...does your horn still work? Reason I asked is b/c a broken cable in the srs reel make the ligth come on and disable the horn.

The light just came on one day. I parked it at work no problem, then got in to go home SRS light came on like normal but jsut never went off (except of course when the car is off)
Thanks for you help by the way.
I will try resetting it a couple more times.

Ok so driving to work today i now noticed my Cruise Control would only work sometimes, so I think you are right, looks like my cable reel is forked.
Anyone got a cable reel for a '00 civic, needs to have cruise control on it.
ALTHOUGH, this still doesnt help me with my original question.
Does anyone know how to read an error code from the SRS light? Is it even possible?
