Default VSS wiring w/o speedo??

I just want to hit vtec, my speedo is the stock dx cable. I have an electronic VSS on my y1 - can i wire it up to the ECU so the ecu can read the speed without it going to a guage cluster? i understand the ecu taps into the cluster speed (but i havent a electronic cluster). im using a pw0 with a b16a1

yes solder the signal wire from the speedo sensor to the vss signal on OBD 0 ECU. ( b16? i'm telling you to double check the pin position) search for GSR cluster into a ef or somthing to get a how-to wire it up.
