Default H22 running lean? picture of spark plug.

So I've been having problems with my car idleing, cleaned iacv and fitv, no help, and also the engine won't rev past 6500 and will cut out, and sometimes misfires. I want to know if this picture looks like I'm running lean to u guys. These are what the plugs look like from WOT and idle, both times they look like this. Thanks for any help.

Yeah Theres small black dots on there, really small, and at the tip of the electrode it's black, which I assume is normal, I thought they looked lean cause I thought the part that's white is suppose to be caramel color.

They look a little bit on the lean side to me.

You're saying it's cutting out on you?

Check the fuel pressure if you can.

How are the spark plug wires?

One of u is saying it's lean and one of u is saying it's rich, o and I finally got it to rev to about 7500 today for the first time in a month, and I noticed that the tach, it's a stock integra LS tach that redlines at 6800, as soon as it goes into redline the tach instantly goes straight down to like 9000 rpms so it seams like it's getting screwed up even though the engine isn't that high, now it's still having the same problem, still won't rev past 6800, it just let me once, which I thought was weird. O and thx for the info cd5 jeebies I'll try giving em a call tomorrow.

Ok I'll try to be more gentle with it. Yeah and it's in a dc integra, but I'm only 17 and I did it all myself with almost no help , took me 6 months though with school. Yeah that would be awesome to meet u, what day would work for u? I could probly drive my car down some day next week!

Your plugs are fine. You want to be looking for white speckles on your electrode... not black ones. If you have white speckles this means you are running into detonation.

yeah what he said.., black specs means the porcelin is melting at those spots..

fyi. white specs.. are melted pieces of Aluminum which have scraped off the wall and melted on the plugs which is detonation

Why does his timing look too far advanced? look at the ground strap.

Where's the grounding strap? The timing might be wrong cause I took of the distributor to replace my internal coil a month ago and forgot to mark where it was, so when I put it back on I forogt where it went so I put it in the middle and hoped for the best, but am having problems now.
