Default brake fluid question

is it possible for brake fluid to be sucked into the motor and cause smoke?
I'm pretty sure this happened to me but i have no clue how it could.

your MC is leaking and dripping into the brake booster, which is a vacuum chamber that is directly linked to the intake manifold.

replace your MC, and check your booster and clean out the check valve at the least.

Or make sure you even have a check valve on the booster line.

Thanks

i already replaced the whole **** (booster & MC) and i changed that valve with an old one i had laying around. It was a bitch to get it in!
my brakes work MUCH better now. I never knew that brake fluid could be sucked into the motor and cause so much damn smoke.

yeah, well thats what happened.

fortunately i havent had to mess with replacing the booster. ive always heard its a pain to get under the firewall. i can only imagine given the few times ive had to reach under there for other reasons.
