H22a swap.. need basemap for new p28
Hey guys. I just did a h22a swap in my 4th gen and I had my friend told me he had a p13 for me.. but it was a obd2 p13 and i need obd1. i have a p28 that i already have a chipping kit for, i just need to find a stock basemap if anyone has it. i have intake and exhaust and just the jdm injectors. thanks guys.
buy the conversion harness and use the obd2 ecu. with the p28 you will loose the secondary control. and because the p13 is obd2 you will probably throw a code because you only have one o2 sensor. so find an obd1 p13 ecu and sell the other stuff.
in the pgmfi forum there are several downloads for h22 basemaps on p28s. with tuning they tend to be very good and make good power, usually fuel adjustments more so than timing (for all motor at least).
you can send your ecu into http://www.phearable.net/ and they can put a basemap on you as per your current mods/for stock h22
i bought a custom socketed/chipped ecu from them and i am pretty sure that they do provide services for units that you send in.

don't waste you're time with the ob2 ecu, just find a basemap for the p28 and you'll be way better off, or if you're planning on leaving the motor stock you could get a p13 if you dont want to fool with chipping and tuning
