Default Tint Question

Just had my 2006 Civic EX Coupe tinted last week. I notice some of the tint sticks to the "dots" at the top of the rear glass, some does not. Should the tint do this? Installer error? Should I take it back to installer?

Last, it appears some of the tint (bottom of rear glass) curls toward rear deck. It looks like it wasn't cut but pushed to bottom of glass. Should it be this way? Will it eventually curl up if not cut?

Any help is appreciated.........

The tint not adhearing to some of the dot matrix is normal.....the rear window is not normal though. Take it back to have the bottom or the rear windwow by the deck fixed.

My Tint wouldnt stick to the little dots either. My tint shop just cut the tint off right below it. They said the could go over the dots but there was a good chance of it pealing off with time. Just curious, but what are those dots for? is it a sort of stock sun screen for the rear???

The dealer tinted my windows... no flaws thus far.

Piece of advice, DO NOT USE WINDEX ON TINT! It turns that crap purple.

Try Invisible Glass by Stoner, You can pick it up cheap at wally world (Walmart) and it works better than anything I've ever used. Says its safe to tinted windows too, so thats a plush<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 95turbodteg &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">windex will tint ur tinted windows purple? i never noticed it before, but since i just got mine done a few days ago what do u recommend?</TD></TR></TABLE>
