I would assume it would directly bolt on.. but I don't know a lot about the newer civic. Try them before you give him the cash.

why would you assume that? it's a completely different car. i doubt the seats will be a bolt-in, but with some work i'm sure they can be made to fit.

reason why is dc and eg seats fit perfectly. i was wondering how many bolts will bolts down. like 3 out of 4 is good enough for me.. reason on why i ask this is becuase my friend got rsx seats and only 2 of them bolts down on his integra.. so im wondering will it be the same as the 05 civic si seat

If you have acces to a welder you can always do a little fab to make the DC bracket fit the new seats.

Just drilling a hole and using a nut/bolt is safe at all.

Edit: NOT safe at all

Thats a horrible idea. It will work for now, but if you ever get into a wreck, the bolt can pull out from the floor pan causing injury to you, or even worse your passenger, resulting in a lawsuit. Lawsuits are never fun.

to being a hack.

no.. just drill the hole to match the rail. i mite just switch rail, but im positive that drilling the hole will make the seats sit tight.. alot of ppl who done it with their s2000 and rsx seats done it before. but i never heard that if you were to drill the hole to the chasis then the seats will move around or anything happen to them if it were to be in an accident

What in the world are you talking about? The factory mounting points are NOT just holes in the floor. The mounting points are built into the structual part of the floor.

What a stupid thing to do, just for a set of seats. You're acting like an ******* because someone is giving you sound advice that could save your life, just because they're telling you what you don't want to hear.
