How well do you think this Setup would sound.
I have a DEH-P8600MP that I wanna use with my Alpine typeR 6" x 9" and a pioneer TS-A1671R 6-1/2" for the front. Well im installing it in a 93 Camry. I did a little search and I found out that the car come with a stock amp under the driver seat. I dont want any sub for know anyway, I just want a little base in my music and to be really!! clear sound. Any advised on how could i achieved this?

I have that radio, but the premier version. Real great for sound systems because of the onboards x-over and stuff, time delay and such. But the down fall of that radio is that it does not put out enough power for your speakers. I even ran a 10 gauge wire fom the battery to the headunit. It helped but not that much, It was never really designed to push speakers so a ext amp is going to come into play, esp if you want clean sound and good bass, Don't skimp on the speaker install, Use some kind of sound deadner on the doors. This will greatly help out on the bass. Same as in the back. That factory amp is not really going to help, Just bi-pass it and run new speaker wires from your new amp.
The factory amp is worthless. Just add a good 4 or 5 channel and do as much sound deadening as you can afford. Try some raamat (sp?).
