well I just got done swapping in a type r in my 97 ex. Motor runs really strong and everything, haven't had any problems. Only thing that is disturbing me is I get a weired rattle/clink when i turn my car off. I have NO clue what it is and it's kind of annoying. I was thinking motor mounts but the engine doesn't shake or anything so I really am quite stumped. Anyone have a good idea?

where is the noise coming from?

 

im pretty sure its in the engine bay

 

how does it sound? like metal against metal?
check your heat shields and your header to cat parts, u may have a loose bolt or something

 

see my heat shield rattles a bit when im at idle so i bet thats it. I'll tighten up the bolts and see how it goes, thanks for throwin that out there. Just slipped my mind i guess.
