This is my 1st turbo setup and i have all the parts now i just need to have it installed and tuned. I have a GSR and i want to try and make 300 whp on a stock motor. Anyways, queston is how much did eveyone spend on tune?

$400 for dyno and street tune by jeff evans

 

i just got quoted 350 for a street tune on crome pro and im also tryin to make 300whp on a stock gsr

 

$375 for tuning and new plugs

How much did it end up costing you?

 

was the 200 you paid for neptune for the cost of the licensing fee? or something like that

 

1st. time$330.allmotor tune /nitrous i was have trouble with the nitrous.
2nd.time$320.same thing just trying to get the nitous to work better.
3rd.time$175.allmotor with new header ,cams,intake and nitous kit got it all to work better tuned all 3 times by ed. at balanced performance. with hondata s200.

 

120=cromepro
75=conversion harness
90=1 hr dyno session

Tuned by myself.

But tuner most likely would charge between 150 to 175 an hr

Most importantly make sure everything is working correctly before going to a tuning session. Tuners hate it when they have to trouble shoot a car thats not acting right on the dyno.

that is so true my case was the dam hondata nitrous controls expletive them dont even use it .lol

 

Why would you make a post like this? obviously its different cost for different tuners. this is not like Wendy's where a jr. bacon cheeseburger cost the same at any Wendy's location you go to. Some tuners have there own dyno and some do not so that right there will vary the dyno time cost.

$530 for hondata S300. Free street tune by myself! Well actually I stopped at McDonalds a couple times so I guess you can add that too. So:
$530 + around $20 worth of McDonalds!

It may give you some idea's for your set-up.

 

I paid about $350 for Neptune RTP. So that and some dyno time for WOT is less than $500.

i was quoted 400.00 tuned with crome. also included chipping p28 ecu.... est whp was 250 however that was on my stock b16

wait rtp is publically available now??? i gotta pay attention more.

i self tuned my setup(s) on the dyno a few times. took about 2 hours each and cost me 250 per time. my last session i wound up gaining over 30hp from tuning

$535 for hondata s300, tuned by me and the dude that I quoted
$385 for the wideband+display
$125 egt probe +gauge
$850 for the laptop

and before the s300, I had uberdata 1.70 perfect tune just tired of always removing the chip
chip buner $85

dont let the prices up top fool you, its worth every single penny, because when something go bad I can fix it on the spot, because I know whats wrong, and I have all the equipment to fix it. dont have to run around like a head less chicken trying to find a tuner. even though its not dyno tuned, the AFR's are perfect, so wo needs to pay a so called professional when you are the pro?

No it is not available to the public yet.....
Being a test subject has it's rewards.

 

dyno time = $100
Program = free (uberdata)
tuner = free (very good friend j-k-tuning.com) eventually took him out for food.

It pays to have hook ups

Are you kidding me? You actually spent over $500 for hondata when uberdata was working fine for you? Uberdata and Crome have had emulator support for a long time now so burning chips isn't needed except for the final burn. All you had to do was buy an ostrich.
