We have an upcomming race at Road America the 29th and 30th of this month and the weather is looking like it is going to be very hot so I was thinking of rigging up my camel back in the car so I can have water during the race to stay hydrated. Has anyone done this and how did you get the drinking tube to your mouth? Did you drill the hellmet or do something else?

I attached the camel back to the back of my seat. I put a piece of velcro on the drink tube so that it will stick to my belt. You can squeeze it up between your face and your helmet, but it works better if you drill a hole in your helmet. Makes a huge difference on how well you feel at the end of the race.
I have this one:

I run the tube over my shoulder under the harness and through the epaulet on the shoulder of my suit. The end of the tube rests in my lap. I slip it under the front of my helmet to get a drink on the straights. Works ok, takes a little practice, though.

Yes they have. It is designed to strap to the back of the sparco seats and is similar to a camel back, but for a seat! It is pretty cool...

I have used drink bottles for many years with really good effect but have never spent more than about $3 on them. Lots of blingy stuff out there but I have never needed it.
I just take a cheapo old drink bottle with a plastic straw style cap (not the pop-up nipple closable kind) and zip tye it to the main hoop of the roll cage on the floor near the driver. Then a lap of racer tape to keep it more secure. Go to any hardware store and get about 4-5 feet of clear soft plastic tubing that will fit inside the ID of the drink bottle's straw. Fill then bottle with ice and the drink then route the tube up near the driver's mouth. I then simply put the tube under one shoulder belt about mid chest high with about 12 inches of tail flopping. I never drilled a hole in the helmet or anything, if i wanted a drink i just reached down without looking and grabbed the tube and put it in my mouth. You must suck the water up the tube from the bottle (small diameter tube only requires a few sucks) to drink and when you are done you want to blow the drink back down the tube into the bottle so it doesn't siphon onto you when not in use.
Could not be easier or cheaper. The only risk is if you suck real hard to start the flow, the drink may hit our mouth and throat so fast that you might chioke on the fast moving liquid. Suddenly gagging and gasping with your eyes watering while driving at 100+ mph is not advisable. Other than that, man it really helps to have a drink during a race and this method works well and is super cheap.

I've been using one for a while, and Lee's advice is right on!! Blowing back into the tube also ensures that your next drink will not be warm stuff left in the tube after your last drink!
I usually don't bother to drink during a 20 - 30 minute sprint, but I really like hitting the bottle during the 5 minute pre race ritual and warm up lap, and hitting it during the cool down lap beats waiting until you're back in the paddock

I just did a 2 hour race in Phoenix where its real hot. I used a Camelback, it is the most basic of the pack systems they offer. I just un-did the back straps and strapped to to my cage right behind the seat. I ran the hose through the strap hole and tucked it under my belt just below my shoulder. The length was perfect for me. Worked great!

hahaha true story: my friend was a porter at the local ford dealership and one day a car was towed in for detailing. everyone wondered why you would need to tow a car in for such a thing. then my friend went to drive it to the detail shop. upon opening the door he realized that the owners colostomy bag had exploded spraying doo doo feces all over the interior.
he was not pleased

I am confident in saying that I could have lived my whole life without reading that story and would not have felt that I missed anything!
