Does this make a HP difference? or gearing? a friend told me if i put a manual cam gear on a auto i may get more hp? different degrees? i dunno if someone could explain thank u

cam gear no, actual cam yes I know for a fact b16 auto cams have noticably smaller lobes than manual cams

 

the b16 is possibly onoe of the only engines like that though.

 

I've never heard of that...that's kind of weird...

 

friend told me it was like a 5% difference. I dunno i guess ill see, and yea i ment cam itself. thanks for hte info

 

same goes for b18 ls cams as well, as far as i know
