Automatic Cam VS Manual Cam
 
Does this make a HP difference? or gearing? a friend told me if i put a manual cam gear on a auto i may get more hp? different degrees? i dunno if someone could explain thank u

cam gear no, actual cam yes https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmileo.gif I know for a fact b16 auto cams have noticably smaller lobes than manual cams

the b16 is possibly onoe of the only engines like that though.

friend told me it was like a 5% difference. I dunno i guess ill see, and yea i ment cam itself. thanks for hte info

same goes for b18 ls cams as well, as far as i know
