a friend on mine has a 94 integra with a obd-1 jdm ls. when he got the car it had no tps on it and would idel around 3000. think it could have been the diffrence in vac lines he put a usdm intake manifold on it. now when he starts the car up it just revs up intil rev limiter if u dont shut it off. will a leakie intake manifold gasket or tb gasket couse this problem? if not what could it be?

 

Sounds like a throttle position problem... You're right about the vaccumm line, if you are missing one it'll idle high. I think you need a TPS if you do not have one
