Skunk 2 intake manifold on OBD 2?????
Yo, I'm having problems with mine. I have a obd2 and there is no obd2 evap hole on the skunk 2 manifold. The directions ask to use a T and combine it with the pbc line.
Problem: idle is BAD.... it goes from 2K to 1K rpm back and forth. Anyone have this problem before???
maybe causes: I bought it used so it didnt have the intake gasket so I used the orginal gasket. Gasket was stuck on the head so I just installed the im right over it. Can that be the problem??

As long as the gasket wasn't torn or unable to provide a seal to prevent vacuum leaks, reusing the old gasket is acceptable.
It sounds like you've got a pretty big vacuum leak.

Re: Skunk 2 intake manifold on OBD 2????? (IN VTEC)
I am thinking its the orginal gasket. I sprayed wbd40 and it sucked it right in and the idle problem when away for a few sec and returned. I just want what the other obd2 ppl do and if they had any problems with their idles.

The only issues I had with mine is that I used a JDM R t/b and I had to make my own gasket for it. On the back of my mani is a port that is used for the evap canister. I didn't have any idle issues that didn't already exist. I say replace the i/m gasket.

Ya I have an extra port on the right side of the canister (back) but its really small. Is that the same as yours?
