Perhaps the way the picture was taken (angle, squatted down, bright lights on, etc.) is the reason why the lights came out bright, and not because of anything else. The only thing I noticed is the date stamp on the last pic (01/04/2003 vs. 07/19/2006). As far as changes go (interior, exterior, engine, suspension, wheels, etc.), is just like selecting your favorite car brand, color, model, or trim level. As long as the owner is content, is all that matters.

I had them aimed up to high, but other than that I love it. I was just going for more distance at night when I drive. I driver at night alot so I just wanted them to see deer in the distance. Obviously the exposure of the picture is going to make them looking brighter than they really are. I am not going through the trouble of doing the HID Retro fit, I'm happy with the plug and play HID's, better visibility, and more distance. And as for the date. I took the picture of the lights right after I changed the battery on my camera, thats the reason for the 2003 date.

The stock rims are better... people put those rims on '98 Proteges, they serve no purpose and they are ugly.

Yeah I really hate myself right now. Not really Just putting it out there for people to comment on. I dont mind if people dont like my rims, doesnt bother me. I like the rims, everyones got there own style. I dont think there is a single rim on the market that everyone is going to love.
