that sucks, follow one of the good writeups about on it, use plenty of flux to keep it clean, and it should be last atleast as long as the OEM solders. sometimes its worth it to not have to mess w/ it, but im a cheap **** and already knew how to solder and had the equipment, so it was a no brainer. when it fired right up after doing it i was SOOOOOO happy i didnt spend the $67 honda wants for one.
