Weapon R and tokico illuminas.... a lil rough ride, but could hang through any turn as fast as you want depending on the tires

wouldn't you still need stiffer shocks to go with the lowering on the coilovers?
correct me if im wrong
You are getting close- coilover simply means the coil spring is installed around the shock/strut unit. When most people refer to coilovers, they actually mean adjustable or height adjustable coilovers. This is done either by a threaded sleeve installed over the shock/strut or by cutting threads into the shock/strut body.
For the street, I plan on picking up some Tokico Illumina shocks and some Eibach (~1" lowering springs) when the time comes. The Eibach springs should be slightly stiffer than stock which is needed to prevent bottoming since you are losing suspension travel by lowering. Koni yellows are my second choice for shocks based on their reputation for durability under road racing applications.
The big thing when comparing springs to shock/struts is the spring rate. A good dealer will know how these work together for the application and can advise accordingly.
Hope this helps.

i was thinkin bout getting the comptech springs and riding on the stock suspention for a lill while. maybe get some koni yellows when i get nuff skrills
Well if you are only street riding, and wanna save some cash then YES just get some coilovers. Ground Controls are around $300, Skunk 2's about $275 and hell you can get a decent set for a flat $200 if you look! After that you can get some struts and shocks but thats gonna take ya over a grand easily. Get some coilovers, and invest in struts and sways for handling on the street and your ride will be pretty good.
Screw the damn coilovers. It's a street car. Who needs to adjust their ride height on a regular basis? Shocks affect handling MUCH more than springs. That's where I'd spend the most money.
I'd snag some KYB AGX, Tokico Illuminas or Koni Yellows and match em with a set of lowering springs. Eibach, H&R, Neuspeed, Comptech, whoever. The springs really aren't that big of a deal. Adjustable damping can do way more to affect the handling of the car.
If you don't want to adjust anything ever, get some Bilstein HD shocks and take yer pick with the springs.

ground control is good.. but if you don't want to adjust the height then H&R sports are a pretty good choice.. i've gone through 3 sets of springs in 1 year.. i think H&Rs are the best springs for street.
BTW what's up with the "Smoke Weed Everyday" thing in every poll?
