Honda S2000 VS G35 & 350Z
Ok guys I have had many a honda and love them. But the past few month I have hung out with the guys from TSZ33. They are the Tri State Z crew. Because of this i started to think i should get a RWD car. So naturaly i was thinking get a Z or G35.
BUT I am a Honda guy and was thinking how good is the S2000. How well will i hold up against my friends from TSZ33.
I might add that most of them are starting to TRY AND DRIFT. Something i wouldn't mind getting into.
I guess i just really want to know if I should jump on a s2000... and stick with what I know...
O I drive a 97 teg with some mods...
thanks guys

350z is a bit faster than the s2k,
other things to consider is that the s2k is pretty much maxed out, unless you S/C it, and the rear end is weak not good for "drifting", s2k isn't meant to drift,
go buy a 350z

more powerful...but not necessarily faster. its a driver's race basically.

Faster how? On the highway? 1/4 mile? Auto X? Road race?

^^ This tells me you are a follower, not a leader. And this is evident because you have some to a web forum basically asking us what car you should by.
I don't know what made you think about the Z when you thought of a RWD car. There are many of RWD platforms to choose from.
Personally, I wouldn't buy either car if I was considering drifting. 1.) I wouldn't try to drift a heavy pig like the Z/G.
2.) I wouldn't drift a handling beauty like the S.
If I wanted to drift, I'd invest in a cheap S13 chassis. Do the ol' SR20DET swap, go with a TEIN drift suspension and get some serious drifting lessons.
