h22 crank pulley + h23 alternator pulley + h23 ac pulley = ?
I'm just getting my h22 swap finished up, and apparently the h22 pulleys have one notch more or less than h23, so it won't hook up to my a/c condenser right. they put the h23 alternator on, but my h23 crank pulley was ****, and the reason i did the swap, so that won't work. My question is, how bad is it really to run this setup? Please correct me if i'm wrong, but the worst thing that could happen is the belt would slip off, and my alternator wouldn't run right? Or is there even any real danger of the belt slipping at all? Any help is appreciated, I don't know nearly as much about cars as I would like to.
the solution is to run the belt with the max amount of ribs you can. im runing a f22 alt and i have a h22 crank pully, but imnot runing the max width . i just found a belt that fit and used it.. no slipage at all
so what im saying is if the h23 pulleys have less width then run a h23 belt it will work..
