can sumone help me out cause my knowledge with hondas is not that great.

Here goes, i was with a friend and her car will not start. It will not even crank. So my friend thought it was the battery so she went ahead and bought an optima battery (redtop). Ok we installed it but nothing. Only thing working was the horn?..SO then comes a guy claiming he is a mechanic...claimed it was the distributer and continued to take it apart. Dont know what he did but he took it apart and took out a round thing with a piece of metal attached to it..he disconnected these 2 (out of three) wires and i was gonna put it back for her but dont know which goes where. i can try to get a picture but until then can someone help me out with this problem?

 

What year/model/trim?

I'm not sure what part your talking about. Maybe the igniter?

A picture would deffinately help here.

Aside from that, if the engine won't even crank, I don't think it's going to be the distributor. Try looking at the starter. Try tapping it and see if it works. I've heard of people tapping on it and it start working.

 

sounds like the main fuse is blown to me
