Default Falken Azenis test results.

So anyway, i was cruzin around here, and i was on it hard, then all of a sudden, my radar klicks 1 k band, so im giving it 2 hard brakings. right as soon as i down shift to 4th, kicked it up to 5grand on the tach, and its at k9. im like POOO... so there goes the cop past me in the other direction. i didnt even bother to see if he was on the brakes. my passenger said when he past i was going 80. so now im doing like 65, so i bang it down to 3rd, punch it, turn off the headlights, throw the fogs on, and bounce. i hit fourth, the front spins, and i tach it up. i cant see how fast im going now, but i keep on it, and hit fifth, bam, there is vtec. so im out like a fat kid in a bathing suit, and i can see the cops lights in the way distance. so im waiting for the right moment, and turn, where the cop cant see my tail lights when i hit the brakes. and there is was, i had just reached a nice negative camber turn, downhill, to the left it sweeps. all the lights disappear. downshift, hard braking and downshift, give it the twip. winds it up for 3rd. twip, 2nd, crank a right, a hard hard right. so the road i end up taking takes me where i just came from. so im on it, and still running on fogs, crankin it up the road. so my freind lives on that road, i got to his place got out of my car, knocked on the door and i see the flashing bubble gum machine on the roof go by. waited 15 minutes or so, then head back to home. so what im saying, is the falken took those turn like an r compound. the ITR rear end settles nicely, unlike on the re010. i had to be doing at least 130 down that curvy hill. and she stuck like she was on rails. i will buy these tires again.

oh btw, after i left my freinds house, the cop saw my yellow ITR, and pulled me over faster than flies find shiz. got the ticket, 80 in a 55. good thing he didnt see what i was really doing.

Do you ever have that urge to give a cop a wise attitude,
---------when he asked me do you know how fast you were going? i said not sure. he said 80. i almost said, i could have sworn i was going faster than that!

Nice test, maybe Falken should use this as some kind of consumer testimony. If sex sells then maybe "Stupidity" sells.

Nahh but,

Goodyear would certainly make commercial of the cop giving chase on their rubber. They'd spin the story a little differenty but, you'd still get the ticket in the end.

Hmmm, 130 mph at night time on a "curvy hill" using only foglights? This is either a major line of B.S., or you're a ******* idiot. Either way, I give this story

P.S. The Azenis are not an R-compound tire.

Obviously, you are NOT Valentine1 equipped... elsewise, you'd have made that Johnnie at a range where taking your foot off the gas would have been sufficient.

Or you're a noobie idiot.

So the point of the story is that you risked you and your passengers lives, and who knows how many bystandards, and you still got the ticket.

How did the cop know it was the same car? Its possible there could be two yellow cars on the road. That sounds kind of bogus.

well, it was a 12:30 at night, no bystanders. and its funny, there are 2 PY itrs in my area. one of them is some kid who rips up and down the road all day long. this was the first time i ripped up it at that sort of speed. the road has street lights, kinda spaced out good tho, so its not like it was pitch black. but dark enough that the cop couldnt see my car going down the road. if my tail lights were on, he would have seen me.
