Yeah how do u buff before applying the touch up paint? I got a scratch on my rear bumper and my friend told me to buff it and then apply the touch up paint. He told me to use the wax spinning thingy.

first use something to strip and remove the wax off the chipped area

you should thinnly apply the touch up paint.....fill layer upon layer to get it to the depth of the original paint surface.....waiting 15-20 mins after each fill

Then get a rubbing compound and polish the area......around and on top of the touch up paint.......then apply clear coat with a clear coat pen ..... wait till dries.....2 or 3 layers of clear is good........then repeat the rubbing compound polish and wax your car when your done
