Default Solo Short Shifter

They any good? Found them on groupbuycenter.com for a good price. I've heard they're really strong, but do they rattle? How's the feel? I'd get some energy bushing with it as well.

I had one in my old type R, I loved it......the guy who installed it said it is one of the best ones he has seen. Comes with bearings and stuff......good stuff.....no rattles, but for some reason, it was alot harder to shift, must use more strength.

But over all...I highly recommand it, u might want to get the solo shift **** too.

Whats a good SS for easy shifting? I want a smooth easy shift. For some reason I've been missing 2nd a lot lately, I'm sure its just my anxious left foot, but I want something that will help me feel the gears a lot better.

I love my AutoZone shifter. It also has a bearing in the bottom. Shifts are smooth with not much more effort than stock (MUCH less of that stock rubbery feeling, though). Yes I know they were recalled for breaking at the threads, but my **** attaches w/ set screws far below the threads (almost at the first bend) so that won't be a problem for me.
