Looking for parts for my DC. Need your side moldings shaved? Will work for parts. PM me for more.

Stock moldings are taken out, then welded shut and grinded down. Then filled with body filler for an even layer and then sanded down again. Last would be primer. Like my homie said, good thing to do if you are already going to paint your car


Here's what my **** looks like right now. Just waiting for paint. It'll be clean

the holes are actually welded shut and then shaved down.

 

Yessir. Welded shut. After welded shut and grinded down, then primered, you can't even tell where the hole for the side moldings were.

 

so does the whole panel usually have to be repainted afterwards?

No, you never have to paint over grinded down sheet metal and raw welds.

 

After grinding down the welds, they will be primered. But yeah, it's good if you're gonna paint the car anyways. I dunno how much a shop would charge to do it this way.

bump because i know you in rudy's summer class! haha i gotta stop by and see if he will let me work on my whip some more... i need to shave my antenna hole and a few spoiler holes.

you think he will trip? i heard that he kinda locked down on who comes in and who doesn't.
