help speedometer don't work

Hey I have a 90 si hatch with a dohc zc swap not sure if I have a si tranny or zc tranny but I took a left turn pretty hard and since that I couldn't tell how fast I'm going the rpm gauge work but not the speed so if you can help me I would appreciate that . Also its throwing a code 18 I think. I followed the speed cable to the tranny and it seems to be loose so I plug it back in and still no work

Try again. Make sure it's all the way in and the "C" clip is in place.

twould be the code 17, the one for VSS. I threw it the other day.
