Default bakin dc2 headlights???

98 GSR need to seperate headlights to clean, polish, paint and put in sum city lights. can anyone tell me how long to bake how many degrees? are the lenses glass or plastic?

Should be the same as every other headlight. I have a 98 civic and I did mine for about 12 minutes at 200 degrees. Just be careful when you pull them out cuz theyre hot as ****. Oh and make sure not to break the clips on the plastic housing......

Oh and just a quick question, Do you really need to seperate them to clean them. The majority of the headlights that honda made only get oxidation on the exterior and only need to be wetsanded, cleaned with a plastic cleaner, and then buffed smooth with wax. You risk the chance of getting condensation in them when you take them appart.

ok cool 200 degrees but i think the lenses are glass arent they?

You don't need to open them up to polish them. Search around there's a plastic polishing faq somewhere on h-t.
