Default this turbo is huge, what is it?

i picked this up from a dude at a swap meet this weekend for $5. way to big throw it on my civic with healthy 1.32 a/r hot side. other than the huge exhaust and the bent blades on the compressor it looks like it could make alot of power. but i dont what it is to see if it is even worth looking into. if anything it would a hell of a paperweight

what peaks my interest is the "bb" in the last part of the part number

Rebuild and sell it to a Rotary Guy in Puerto Rico. They have quite a few rotaries that will run a similar size.

From the looks of it in Puerto Rico thats looks a little small for a rotary *sarcasm*

i like the jet engine idea. i've always wanted to build one of those. but the question still remains, what is it? at 80,000rpm for the jet i doubt the compresor blades are gonna hold very long. haha.

I know someone who had a run-in with a Puerto Rican.

If I were you, I'd look into either selling it on some supra or rotary forum, or call garrett (or a big distributor) & try getting a new wheel. If the bearings didn't scar the shaft & the turbine wheel is okay, you could make a few bucks.

Sure they will, i've built one before....Just don't use nitrous with it too. If you can't get a new wheel from Garrett for it, just bend it back straight and build the jet with it and run it till it blows.
