Default stroked out type r

hey guys...im looking to buy a stoker kit for my type r...i haven't done any research on them yet but i wanted to see if anyone here has done that already...did you guys have any problems or and concerns...just let me know will ya? i haven't decided which company i'm going with but for sure i'm going to stroke it..followed by a set of Omni ITBs....its gonna be a hell of a screamer!

I would bore it and not stroke it. The longer the stroke the less you can safely rev the motor. Do some research in the All Motor forum before spending thousands of dollars.

Yea... a cheap "stroker" would just be an 89mm LS crank setup - and that's fine IMO.

It'll cost a bit to go 92mm, but that will also work. However, if you want to pay for that, and for ITB's, perhaps it's better to go with K-series ---> which really responds well to mods and esp. stroking
