I want to buy a 02-03 type s. what would be a descent price for one with 40-50,000 miles?

is buying one like that a good idea or is that to many miles?

 

It's a Honda so as long as it has been well maintained and not run into the ground by the previous owner you will be fine. Comon sense will take you a long way when purchasing a car like that

 

im looking to buy one too...its got 82k miles and they are asking $13,600. seems kind of high to me

 

Ya that sounds pretty high for that many miles.

 

Jesus... I paid 12k for mine with 51k miles on it in 2003 (it's a 2002 model). You guys are getting screwed.

I'd say 15k for clean title from a dealer with certified warranty.

 

i dont know why the one im looking at is so much...theres another one way up north for the roughtly $13k and its got 50k miles on it

 

I bought my base '05 in '05 with 200 miles on it (used! the seller bought it for his mom, who made him sell it because she wanted a Mercedes C-class instead) for $19k.

 

I bought my 06 RSX S with 1 mile on the odometer for about 21k.

 

You should be able to pick up one with 50-60K certified used for ~ 14-16K from the dealer.... Dont remember how much mine is cause I traded in my old prelude but i love my 02 s

 

22k out the door for an 05 type-s
