powder coating mid-pipe???
can poweder coating hold up to the heat. i have a 2001 f4i, black and red scheme and want to get some carbon accessories for it, including the exhaust. the only silver things on the bike are the pegs and rear sets (easy to powder coat) so the only silver thing left would be the exhaust pipes.
long story short, can you powder coat exhaust pipes to stand the heat?

Depends on the powder, who lays it, how long they let it cure, if they do a heat cure, blah blah blah.
But yes you can powder a mid pipe to withstand heat.
Turbomanifolds and compressor housings as well as exhaust housings are powdercoated all the time and they stand up to 300+ degree temps under the hood.
