So about 6 days ago, I put down a deposit for an '06 black SI. A few days earlier I called them asking for an estimated delivery date and they said somewhere between 7/28-8/02.

When I called again today, they said that they never know what's coming in until it actually gets there. The lady said that I have no estimated delivery date and there is no VIN number that they can give me.

Are they bullshitting me and just keeping my deposit so I don't shop around? Anyone actually work at a stealership and can give me a DEFINITE answer? I just want my SI ASAP

 

same thing happened with me. ur deposit is 100% refundable. if the car gets there, and u dont like it, u can take ur money and go elsewhere. there is no exact date for arrival because they could screw something up in the factory or need to order something or it could arrive early. i wasnt supposed to get mine until early july, and got it late june. so be patient and keep calling the dealership every few days towards the end of this month. it'll get there
