Default im putting this system together; any advice?

i have an Alpine 9856 CDA cd player.
and an Infinity Reference 1032w

i was thinking of purchasing an Alpine MRP-M450 amp.. is this a good choice?
im not trying to blow any doors off or anything, i just want an amp that will not overpower or underpower my speaker to much.

i would like to keep my products limited to those 2, alpine or infity.

tia.

I know nothing about stereos, but I have both an Alpine CD Player and Amp. I like Alpine. You should be fine.

bumping this up so u guys can see....

i installed those products from above, and im very pleased with them..
however it did take me alot longer than expected, partly because this is only the 2nd system i've installed. and because im a fan of the gutted cars... and i couldnt really figure out how to mount everything... but i finished it...

what yall think?

for the amp, i cut 4 small pieces of wood and mounted them to the floor, spacing it up a little bit so it can get some air underneath it.. that and the floor where i mounted it had those humps in it too..

for the box, i drilled a small hole in the bottom of it, and used a 12mm bolt to bolt it to the spare tire bolt hole. then i put some small peices of metal on the rear of it, and screwed it down to the floor...

more of a function over fashion thing...

Although the Alpine amp would work, you have a DVC 250W "RMS" sub, but the amp only puts out 220W RMS into 4 ohms or 400W RMS into 2 ohms, a little under-powered or a lot overpowered.

What is the impedance of the VCs, it was available in DVC 2 ohm or DVC 8 ohm, need to know what the impedance is to recommend an amp. 94

Recommend an amp? I think it's a little late for that. He already got the alpine (as can be seen from the pics).

Just because the amp puts out 400 wrms and the sub needs 250, doesn't mean that the amp has to be turned up all the way to put out that 400. Once set up right, I'd call it "a lot of headroom," not " a lot overpowered."

some 12's i've been looking at are the Alpine SWR-1242D or a Kicker one, but the kickers seem like they need more power than my amp has.. but im not really sure..
