07 should be the last MY. Given that the MY06 didn't start hitting the US until 12/05-1/06, I'd say you still have a while to wait. Word on the street is that they are doing away with Suzuka and GPW will have the red+black interior.

MY07 will be the 8th production year of the S2000. And when it comes to the S2000, Honda has a tendancy to do things in pairs. MY00-01 had the initial set-up, then MY02-03 brought new additions (most significantly the rear glass window), then MY04-05 brought the new AP2 design. The last 2 years, MY06-07 have the recent additions of VSP, headrests, LPB paint, and new wheels, etc.

There was a Honda NA press release regarding the 2007 S2000. I'll try and find it.

we've been speculating since later 2005 about when the last model year would be. There is no press release on Honda's website about the S2000. At least not since March of 2006; and it didn't contain any info about the end of S2000 production.

 

The S2000 will have a 25 year production run. Mark my words.

 

Everyone must have missed the article about the successor to the S2000, the new XGA.

2006 is the last year for the S2K. -_-

north star, if you believe everything you read on the internet then you probably know the pistons in a mazda 13B have 16:1. compression ratio

You are correct. S2000 is now discontinued. 06 is that last year. So if you have one HOLD ON TO IT!!!!

My bad, it wasn't a press release, just something I was forwarded via a rep at Bankston Honda in TX. Said that Suzuka and Sebring silver won't be in the MY07 line up, and Tan is out in favor of the Red/Black interior for GPW.

Imola Orange will be a new color for MY07, but only available in very limited production for CANADA, not in the US.

I have definite confirmation from the local dealers that the 07 broshure has been sent and all they are changing is getting rid of some colors. vtec.net also reports the same and they have some damn good connections.

I still have no word on what time of the year they are coming.

Does someone know what month a previous year model was released?

Just spoke to inventory manager at a local dealer and he has them on delivery for end of October/beginning of Novermber.
