The problem is that the fuel line from the fuel filter>fuel rail is too short. I mean it still hooks up and works fine...but it makes taking the CAI on/off a biotch. I wish the fuel line was just 2-3" longer.

Is there a stock fuel line that's longer than the Civic one that will fit? Can I go to some kind of shop and just tell em what I need and have em crimp me a new one...even if it means taking fittings off my old one?

ps: I don't really wanna spend the extra $$ on a braided line, but I will if I have to. btw...it's a stock fuel rail/fuel filter

 

Very clean swap. Im running basically the same setup in my 96 civic and what I did is bend the metal part of the fuel line a bit so it had more slack.

 

or grab a teg fuel line from the filter to the rail. should be fine then.

 

how much longer is the teg fuel line? can you tell me which year integras?

 

im not sure how much longer they are, if they are, but i would assume any 94+ teg would work.

okay u just confused the hell outta me cuz now you're saying youre not even sure if the teg fuel line is longer than the civic one?

well i don't really need to get the fuel line cuz the one i have now works...its just that the CAI is pushing down on it and it's REALLY tight...i have to muscle the CAI in there. someone PM'd me said theyre gonna take a pic with teg/civic fuel lines side by side....still waiting

 

so hatchi came thru for me and took a pic of the civic/integra fuel lines side by side

civic line is on top...and obviously shorter

 

i have a teg fuel line in my swap (same as yours pretty much) and it works nicely.

he's using a type r cable bracket. that's why it's positoned like that.

 

no that's actually the stock gsr throttle cable setup. the type-r one looks a lot cleaner. i will end up getting it eventually, but i'm gonna be spending a few benjamins for Neptune and a tune by Superdave so...it's gonna have to come a lil later.

i thought it may have had to do something with the throtle body being jdm being that there cars are rhd

 

mmm nah. the stock gsr setup i have works....but doesn't look as clean as the type r. it's been a year since this car was last running so i could care less what it looks like as long as it works.
