Default help out with a price

im thinkin of buyin my friends 89 si hatch w/ a 92 gsr b17 swap.hes askin 1600 but the car was wrecked and im pretty sure its totaled, its drivable but scary and not somthin i could do every day. the motor has aprox. 190k miles so its gonna need a rebuild. i want to give him what its worth but dont want to screw myself cause i dont have much money but i need VTEC. let me know how much u think i should pay.

89 si is hard to come by where i live but if its wrecked i think you should stay away from it, Oh and isnt the b17 non-vtec?

the older gsr motors were vtec.

and i would probably stay away from it to, since it is totaled, and the motor need rebuilt

There is nothing of value here.

The chassis is wrecked.
The engine needs a rebuild.

There are a few parts that could be sold, but thats about all its worth. I wouldn't give him more than $500.
And I say that in all fairness. I'm not one of the dipshits here that think are all CRXs shouldn't be more than $1500. I'd pay upward of $5k if I thought the condition warranted it.
