Default 96 Coupe Turn Signal Question

So I have an electrical ghost in my 96 coupe. My turn signals will not automatically turn off unless it is really hot outside for some reason. During the winter they never turn off automatically, but during the summer if the car sits outside in the sun and the interior gets hot, then they will work correctly. Any ideas???

if im not mistaken, the turn signal is mechanicly returned by a plastic piece attached to the steering column hiting the rod and returning it. remove your plastic trim to cee if you can cee somehting out of place
