George, any events set up for the Honda guys specifically?
Not to shortcut George, but I'm sure the NASA event on the North course in October will feature a significant school driver discount (and racer presence, especially from the ECHC folks)!

I also guarantee that the Speedtrial event in December will have a serious honda-tech discount as usual, and hopefully a huge H/A turnout like last time.

Jon, you had eluded at one time to having more of a SpeedTrials presence on the East Coast. Any new developments?
Nope, not yet... but you'll here about it here first.

The BMWCCA event for July is full...I spoke to Sandy this morning. I am just getting in under the wire, and you have to be a BMWCCA memeber to get in most times. Also if you want to instruct with them you almost have to take their clinic

Funny thing about Ferarri club. They expect you to own a Ferarri. I've instructed with them and instructors aren't allowed to bring their cars (unless they are Ferarris I suppose). The up side is that if you are lucky, one of the very nice students may let you drive their car (360 Modena, 512TR, Dino...). Fantastic group of people (very laid back) and incredible machinery. There is no experience like instructing in a 360 with the F1 package and having the student snap off 9000 rpm shifts.
O.K. I forgot who my audience was. Instructors aren't allowed to drive non- Ferarri vehicles on track. Which for most of us means you can't bring your regular track car. And sure, if you ride the short bus you could see if the special ed. teacher will drop you off at the track.
But...the only dates available to Jon are weekdays, for the rest of the year.
Not true... I can get weekends, just not at VIR or Summit-bigtrack

Has Savage Steve Holland made anything since that Demi Moore/John Cussack flick with the Ferrari 328 (??) power boat?
Ah, another Curtis Armstrong fan. That makes two of us now... If you guys want to know what events are coming soon to a track near you (i.e. club events) just look at http://www.trackschedule.com/sched.html . There are listings for most tracks on the east coast. This web site is set up by Coco Strayer. Some of you know her and her husband Phil. Both drive 911s and are absolutely nuts.
"Lane! Do you have any idea what the street value of this mountain is?!?"
