Overheating/radiator question

Default Overheating/radiator question

Would just not having a Radiator fan cause the radiator to overheat. I dont have one on and the car over heated it took a while but sur enough the neddle went to H.

yes, the radiator fans helps keep the car in the proper oprating temp.

but without it, I would just overheat.

if it was sitting in traffic for awhile- yes it will overheat without a fan, my crx doesnt break 180 degrees unless its sitting on for a very long time , havent heard the fan come on in months. but if you were driving and it overheated its probably a bad or sticking thermostat
