where are the directions for the ashtray install!!!
I tried doing what he did, but it's not as easy as it looks. There are many parts that you have to trim. Some parts that need to be trimmed are parts that actually clip to the console.
I just used their supplied bracket and stuck it to the little pocket under the radio. Then I used velcro on the other side and stuck it to the AFC. That way I can take it in and out at the mall/movies, etc.
I want to make a in dash system, that can have a little plastic plate that can snap on over the vafc so people dont steal that shiat
Here's mine....hope Imagestation works.

EDIT: I just have to hide the wires behind the console area as soon as I'm not lazy.
If the pics don't work, here are the links:

Very bad idea to mount it where someone can see it. It will definetly get stolen. A good spot is either in your glove box, or under your seat to where you can pull it out when needed. Theifs will just walk up see it, break your window and snag it before you even know your alarm is going off.
I do have to say that if you decide to install it up above the rear view would be a good spot. Its hard to see things that high inside a car.
