Size of S2K drivers...
Hey guys, I am thinking about going to look at an S2K, but don't have any time today... I was just curious if the S2000s were designed for smaller drivers or not.. I am around 5'11", 220lbs, will I have a problem fitting in them or not?

I'm 5'5" so I fit pretty well. However, I know a guy who is well over 6' who has no problems at all and I've never heard him complain about space. In fact, I've never heard anyone say they were cramped in an S2000.
At 5'11" I think you'll fit comfortably. Go for it!

Damn guys, S2000s are looking more and more likely for my next car... I am at a toss up, between this, waiting for an Evo VII, or getting a Subaru WRX.
S2000, Evo VII or WRX? What do you plan on doing with the car? If you're gonna do any SCCA auto-x or anything get the S. The WRX will take some work to be really fast in auto-x. An example, I ran my first auto-x this weekend, I was faster than many of the WRX drivers (not all of course) who'd been doing this for a few years. Don't get me wrong, the WRX is a great car, just meant for a different thing.
If you want something to mod the WRX is a better choice. There's just not much you can do to improve an S2000 short of forced induction. Mods are expensive and don't do much. The only "mods" I plan to do are some light weight wheels shod with some R compound tires sometime next year. (I'm trying to stay in stock class.) Even that is going to be expensive.
I can't comment on the Evo as I don't even know what they look like let alone how they perform!

Well lets see... I'm 5'10, 230 and I fit just fine. Even driving to Florida from Chicago. I also autocross the car and lets say my stature helps me from flailing about the cockpit under abrupt manuevers.
Just get the car and have fun :D

6'-3" 240lbs.
top down it was kinda snug. I could not reach the hood release unless I opened the door.
I don't know how it would have fit with the top up.

-who can't fit in a NSX either.

I am 6'6" - 220lbs. The fit is snug. I have trouble reaching the mirror controls/window controls w/ the door shut. Getting in and out of the car is the hardest part for me, but once I am inside the vehicle I am fine. I have plenty of headroom as well even w/ the top up. I probably have a good five -or- six inches from the top of my head to the actual roof. My legs are about two inches from the dash, and I cannot fully extend my legs (in order to stretch).
I love the car though ...I'm glad I purchased one.
I hope this was the type of answer you were looking for instead of: "I'm X'X" tall and Xlbs. and I fit." Considering you are a lot shorter than myself, I wouldn't forsee any problems. But make sure you sit in one and get a feel before you shell out that kind of money. Good luck!
