Default rust bucket 88 civic dx

hello. i'm new on here and i like to drive fast. i basically want to know what would be the best engine to put in an old 88 civic dx if i want to get alot of hp out of it without fabricating an engine? i would be spending all my juice money on it basically, so i need the best engine to start with. everyone tells me a rsx engine would do, but i just found out that the biggest engine i can put in there without fabrication is a 6-valve engine. i only have about $200 in juice money right now, i've been smoking alot of weed since i got the car 2 years ago, so positive input would help alot.

Yea stop smoking weed or you will never buy an engine. Do some research and you will learn. You can basically bolt up any D-series motor. But if you want B, H, F or K, it is going to take some money and fabrication. Plus that Rsx Type R motor is going to cost you over $6k and that is without a motor mount kit.

You might want to learn more about your car and motors before you do anything.
