b18a1: how much oil to put in?

ok i have a b18a1 in my 89 civic and i forget how much oil to put in. i figured more people in here would have an idea than in the other sections. thanks i need to know pretty much right now

put 4 qts in, start it up, shut it off, check the level, then top it off.

i usually put 4 quarts then i go driving the car around and i let it cool off a little then i end up putting 4.5 quarts.

alright thanks, yeah i'm used to my 02 civic that only takes 3.7 i think so i didnt want to be way off. thanks

^ This correct according to the honda manual...Adding to much oil can be bad, might flood into the pistons and burn oil...Not cool!
